I am a South African national lifesaving athlete and a second-year Mechatronic Engineering student, balancing sports performance with complex technical studies. Driven by precision both in the pool and the lab, I have consistently represented South Africa on the global stage. My international competitive career includes representing my country at the 2023 RLSS Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships in Canada and the 2025 Championships in Wales. I have also tested my skills against the world’s best at the prestigious Orange Cup still-water competition in the Netherlands. Combining the rigorous problem-solving of engineering with the split-second decision-making required of a rescue swimmer, I am dedicated to achieving excellence in both high-performance sports and future automation technologies.
