I have been a volunteer lifeguard at Clifton Surf Lifesaving Club since 2018. I have also worked as a professional lifeguard for the City of Cape Town for the past two years.

Since becoming a lifeguard at Clifton, I have been dedicated to improving my lifesaving abilities by becoming an instructor, an IRB driver, and obtaining my Level 3 First Aid qualification. These skills have helped me become an athlete and squad leader at the club, as well as represent the Western Cape team in 2022. This year, I have the opportunity to compete at the pinnacle of club competitions, the Lifesaving World Championships.
