I began my journey in lifesaving at a young age and quickly developed a passion for both the sport and the opportunity to help others. Lifesaving has taught me discipline, teamwork, leadership, and the importance of staying calm under pressure. Through the sport, I have built lifelong friendships and gained valuable skills that extend far beyond the beach and pool.

My greatest passion is lifesaving, where I dedicate countless hours to training and improving my abilities as both an athlete and lifeguard. I am proud to be part of the lifesaving community in South Africa and continually strive to represent my club and country to the best of my ability. Earlier this year, alongside fellow lifeguards, I assisted at a roadside emergency while returning from the South African National Lifesaving Championships, demonstrating the commitment to helping others that lifesaving instills in us.

With the Lifesaving World Championships being hosted in South Africa, I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to compete against some of the world’s best athletes. I look forward to challenging myself, improving my skills, and building friendships with competitors from around the globe. I train hard every day to earn my place on the team, represent South Africa with pride, and become the best lifeguard and athlete I can be. Through dedication, perseverance, and a passion for serving others, I aim to make the most of every opportunity both in sport and in life.
