Hi, my name is Emily and I have been doing lifesaving for 6 years. Ever since I started, my life completely changed and what started as a sport quickly became a passion that has shaped who I am. Lifesaving also taught me so many lessons I will never forget – like respect, endurance and teamwork – that extend far beyond the beach. It would mean everything to me to compete on home-soil at the World Championships, as this amazing chance may never come around again. I have worked really hard for this and the opportunity will allow me to grow not only as an athlete, but as a person. Any support in making this dream a reality would mean the world to me!
