I’m super excited about the opportunity to represent my club on the world stage at the Lifesaving World Championships in Port Elizabeth this November. Competing at a home World Champs is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I can’t wait to be part of it.
I’m a beach specialist, with beach sprints being my strongest event. I love the speed and intensity of racing across the sand. Beach flags are another favourite because they require quick reactions and you have to think fast. I also enjoy the team events, especially the beach relays and Taplin relay, where everyone plays an important role and the team relies on each other to perform at their best.
I’m looking forward to testing myself against the best athletes in the world and gaining valuable experience that will help me grow as a lifesaver and an athlete.
