Isabella Brooker is a dedicated and highly motivated young lifesaving athlete whose passion, determination, and competitive spirit have already earned her recognition as one of South Africa’s emerging talents in the sport.
At just 15 years old, Isabella has achieved success at national level, earning medals against some of the country’s top junior lifesaving athletes. Most recently, she recorded two South African High Performance Stillwater Times in pool events, delivering performances that rival athletes several years her senior. A versatile competitor, Isabella excels across both pool and ocean lifesaving disciplines. Her commitment to continuous improvement, combined with her strong work ethic and training discipline, has made her a respected member of her club and a promising prospect for future South African representation. Known for her coachability, resilience, and calm composure under pressure, Isabella consistently demonstrates maturity beyond her years. She approaches every training session and competition with focus, professionalism, and a positive attitude, while contributing strongly to team culture and club spirit. Away from competition, Isabella is currently in Grade 9 studying the IGCSE curriculum at Generation Schools Sandown Institute in Parklands, Cape Town. She is also a qualified Junior lifeguard with Clifton Lifesaving Club, where she voluntarily performs lifeguard duties each season in service of her community.
Goal-driven, respectful, and team-oriented, Isabella is committed to long-term athlete development and aspires to represent South Africa on the international stage in the years ahead.
