Having the Lifesaving World Championships in South Africa is really exciting. It’s not often that you get the chance to compete at a World Championships in your own country, surrounded by family, friends, and people who have supported you along the way. I’m proud that athletes from all over the world will get to experience our beaches and our lifesaving culture, and I can’t wait to be part of it.
